It was on May 12 this year that the Danish right-wing extremist and party leader of the Stram Kurs party, Rasmus Paludan, held a demonstration in Borås where he, among other things, burned a Koran.

During the demonstration, a counter-demonstrator swam over to Stadsparken, where he was taken into police custody.

Before being taken into custody, he managed to throw several stones at Paludan, two of which hit Paludan and one hit a police officer.

Now he is charged by prosecutors, suspected of, among other things, assault.

With that, the prosecutor requests that the man pay 15,000 kroner in damages to Rasmus Paludan and just over 10,000 kroner to the police officer who was hit.
