According to the WeChat public account of the Chinese Embassy in South Korea, because this year's No. 11 typhoon "Xuanlannuo" is moving northward from the waters near the southwest of Jeju Island, South Korea, Jeju Island and other places have experienced strong winds. Due to the rain, flights and ships in the southern sea and airspace were largely suspended.

South Korea's Ministry of Administration and Security has raised the storm crisis alert from "alert level" to "severe level" on the 5th.

The embassy in South Korea hereby reminds:

  1. Strengthen safety precautions.

Pay close attention to typhoon dynamics, weather warnings and disaster prevention information, and minimize or avoid travel in severe weather conditions as much as possible.

Be prepared for disasters at home during a typhoon, and take shelter and respond in accordance with local warnings.

  2. Properly arrange the itinerary.

Some flights were cancelled or delayed due to the typhoon.

Travel planners are requested to pay close attention to flight updates released by airlines, adjust the itinerary and pre-boarding inspections in a timely manner as required, and rationally deal with flight cancellations and changes caused by typhoons.

  3. Those who have made an appointment to come to our embassy from September 5th to 7th to apply for passport travel documents, notarization, marriage registration and other business personnel can postpone the processing to the following times according to the weather conditions:
