A Palestinian youth was martyred, and another was wounded today by the occupation army’s bullets in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin in the West Bank. The occupation forces arrested 15 Palestinians after storming a number of areas in the West Bank, after two attacks targeting settlers and soldiers in the Jordan Valley and near Ramallah.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement that Taher Muhammad Zakarneh, 19, died of Israeli gunfire in his town of Qabatiya, after being shot in the head and right foot, and a bullet in the left thigh.
Anadolu Agency quoted the director of Ibn Sina Hospital, Jani Abu Jokha, as saying that a 22-year-old man with a foot injury had arrived at the hospital, describing his condition as moderate.
Palestinian media reported that clashes and confrontation took place during Israeli forces storming several areas in the West Bank, including the Jenin governorate, to which the town of Qabatiya belongs.

The Palestinian Prisoners Club said that the occupation wounded a young man during the storming of Qabatiya, and arrested 3 others. A total of 17 people were arrested in the West Bank last night and at dawn today. The arrests were concentrated in other areas such as Ramallah, Al-Bireh, Nablus and Hebron.
The Israeli forces took the detainees to interrogation centers on charges of resisting the occupation.
Jordan Valley attack
Since yesterday, the occupation forces have been searching and combing the area of the city of Tubas in the northern Jordan Valley (east of the West Bank) in search of a third suspect, accused of participating in yesterday’s shooting attack on a bus in the area, injuring 5 soldiers and the bus driver, one of whom was seriously injured.

Four Israeli soldiers were slightly injured when a homemade bomb exploded yesterday from a Palestinian car near the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, west of Ramallah, according to Palestinian sources.
