Zelensky called on the authorities and law enforcement officers to ensure the safety of the country's population.
He emphasized the inadmissibility of the appearance of military weapons at public events.
Earlier, the head of the Chernihiv regional administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, said that several children were injured in the explosion of ammunition at the weapons exhibition.
According to Ukrainian media reports, one of the grenade launchers was activated during the exhibition.
