“Currently, in close proximity to the borders of the Russian Federation there are more than 50 biolaboratories modernized at the expense of the Pentagon and controlled by it.
In total, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, there are 336 biological laboratories in 30 countries of the world under the control of the US military department,” he said.
According to him, the activity of laboratories is accompanied by a worsening of the epidemic situation for especially dangerous and economically significant infections, as well as the emergence of infectious diseases that are atypical for a particular region.
“So, since 2010, in the territories bordering Ukraine with the Russian Federation, an increase in the incidence of brucellosis, Crimean Congo fever, West Nile fever, African swine fever, as well as an uncharacteristic expansion of carrier ranges has been recorded,” he said.
On March 10, the Ministry of Defense announced that it had received information confirming the leading role of the Pentagon in financing and conducting military biological research in Ukraine.
In this regard, Russia demanded that this issue be considered within the framework of the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological and Toxin Weapons.
China also urged the United States to clarify its military-biological activities on the territory of Ukraine.
