“Segolene Royal has shown political courage, her courage should serve as an example,” said the politician, quoted by TASS.
In his opinion, Royal has the moral right to protest against the military propaganda of the Ukrainian authorities.
“French Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin condemned American propaganda and lies by refusing to support the war in Iraq in 2003,” Filippo recalled.
The politician also said that France "should not obey the North Atlantic Alliance and its accomplices."
As it became known earlier, the Ukrainian Support Association announced its intention to file a complaint against Segolene Royal for questioning Kyiv's claims about the actions of the Russian Armed Forces during the operation to protect Donbass.
According to Royal, the “war propaganda through fear” on the part of the Ukrainian leadership is aimed at disrupting the negotiation process for a peaceful settlement.
