“Kadyrov is one of the most outstanding modern leaders,” he told RIA Novosti.

According to Dzhabarov, Chechnya became one of the most stable subjects of Russia during Kadyrov's leadership.

“Kadyrov enjoys great respect from his neighbors... I think he is too young to leave,” the senator stressed.

Jabarov also expressed confidence that the inhabitants of the republic would oppose his resignation.

“He has iron authority, everyone respects him.

It would be a great loss if he left, for the Chechen people and for Russia as a whole, ”the Russian senator stated.

Earlier, Kadyrov said that he "stayed too long" in his position and deserved an indefinite vacation.

He also noted that he is a "long-liver" among the current heads of Russian regions.
