Former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev was buried at the Novodevichy Cemetery. It is reported by TASS. Gorbachev was buried in a family grave next to his wife Raisa. The funeral was held with the participation of the guard of honor company. Earlier, in the Hall of Columns in the House of Unions in Moscow, the farewell ceremony for Gorbachev ended. Gorbachev died at the age of 91 on August 30 after a long illness.
