French politician who doubted Kyiv's statements will be filed a complaint

On air at BFM, the politician denounced Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's "propaganda for war through fear" and suggested that stuff like the reports of a maternity hospital in Mariupol was invented to derail the negotiation process.

The co-founder of the Stand With Ukraine association, Edward Mayor, did not like such statements: according to him, the team will file a complaint against Royal.

“We will try to act quickly with our lawyers and collect statements from victims and witnesses,” he said.

Royal, in turn, stated on her Twitter that she "never denied war crimes", but "propaganda by fear" always leads to escalation.

"Let's remember the criminal attacks on Iraq, justified by lies," she stressed.

In March, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov commented on the situation with the maternity hospital in Mariupol.

He stressed that the maternity hospital had long been captured by the Azov battalion * and other radicals, "from where they drove out all the women in labor, all the nurses and, in general, all the attendants."
