American journalist Shurk believes that the United States is turning into a “banana republic”

According to the journalist, in the banana republic lives "a lawless society ruled by monkeys." 

“Nearly 80% of Americans believe we live in a two-tier justice system,” Shurk writes.

He cited as an example the results of polls that show low trust ratings for the three branches of government: 25% for the Supreme Court, 23% for the President and 7% for Congress.

The journalist also listed three signs of a "banana republic": language manipulation and a "cult of the left eye", political persecution and "electoral legitimacy", as well as "forcing citizens to consent" and increased dependence on the government.

Earlier, the senior editor of the American newspaper The Washington Post, Mark Fisher, in his article, wondered if the United States was moving towards a civil war.

According to the journalist, many in the country adhere to the idea that such a confrontation is "either inevitable or necessary."

According to columnist Don Feder, the United States is in danger of destroying itself from within, as evidenced by the five signs of impending collapse observed in the country.
