The authorities of the Zaporozhye region announced a failed attempt to land Ukrainian troops in the region.

According to Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the regional administration, Kyiv intended to land paratroopers in three directions in the liberated part of the region.

“The Kyiv regime deployed several dozen boats with militants to land in the Zaporozhye region in three directions - Vasilyevka, Dneprorudnoye and Energodar,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.

Rogov noted that aviation was used to suppress the landing attempt.

According to him, the Russian Ministry of Defense will provide more detailed information about the incident later.

At the same time, a representative of the administration of the Zaporozhye region believes that the actions of the Ukrainian side are similar to "imitation of vigorous activity" before a meeting of a group of Western countries to provide military assistance to Kyiv.

“All this is purely military show business.

Zelensky puts on another bloody show at the cost of huge losses among the military, ”said a representative of the administration of the Zaporozhye region.

Rogov also spoke about the continued shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant (ZNPP) by the Ukrainian side.

According to him, we are talking about a planned provocation in order to intimidate the IAEA mission by preventing experts from studying the situation at the station.

“The shelling of the nuclear power plant is a planned provocation by Kyiv, in order to then blame Russia for everything and declare its inability to ensure security at the facility,” Rogov believes.

It should be noted that earlier Kyiv attempted to land troops in the ZNPP area.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Russian troops destroyed two sabotage groups and self-propelled barges with troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the defense department also published a video showing the work of the airborne units that repelled the attack of the Ukrainian military during a special military operation.

According to the Russian serviceman on the published recording, the Ukrainian military held out for about one and a half to two hours.

“We heard the sound of technology, raised the bird.

Our artillery worked in such a way that they had no chance.

Tanks worked, "thirty" worked, AGS.

They were completely covered.

They held out for one and a half to two hours - that's all, ”said the serviceman with the call sign Tihyy.
