On August 31, Khinshtein announced that he had submitted to the government a bill on fines for propaganda of LGBT people and pedophilia.
For individuals, fines for promoting pedophilia can be up to 800 thousand rubles, for legal entities - up to 10 million rubles.
At the same time, fines from 200,000 rubles to 800,000 rubles for citizens and up to 5 million for legal entities are provided for LGBT propaganda.
