Khalaf Al Habtoor launches an initiative to support young people who are about to get married

Emirati businessman Khalaf bin Ahmed Al Habtoor launched an initiative to support young Emirati men and women who are about to get married, during which he pledged to contribute to the establishment of 100 families annually, stressing that the family is the foundation of society, and supporting it achieves stability and continuity for it.

Al Habtoor explained in a tweet via his account on the social networking platform "Twitter" that spinsterhood is one of the most important problems facing our Arab societies, and all businessmen must contribute to solving this problem, especially since the state has many tasks and responsibilities, where material factors play a major role in delaying marriage.

He called on businessmen and those who are able to participate in the initiative, and sponsor the support of a number of young people who are about to get married, stressing the large number of philanthropists in the country, who wish to support their community and facilitate the youth.

He stated that the family is the basis of society, and if it is not supported, this society will not be stable, whether in the state or in any country in the world, stressing the ability of Emirati businessmen to provide this support, and marry the largest number of young citizens annually.

The Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Foundation for Charitable Activities, in cooperation with "Emirates Today newspaper", sponsored a collective wedding under the slogan "The Wedding of Goodness", in the framework of the "Year of Giving", during which 50 grooms of middle and low incomes were married, and the ceremony was attended by prominent Emirati personalities on the It was headed by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, along with a number of ministers, directors of government departments and institutions in the Emirate of Dubai, officials of charitable societies in the country, and relatives of the grooms.
