About 240 protesters gathered outside the defense industry Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, 40 of whom sat on the road blocking traffic, Spiegel reports.
The demonstrators started throwing objects at the police.
“Eight police officers were slightly injured,” the text says.
It is noted that the protesters were supporters of the anti-militarist alliance Rheinmetall entwaffnen, who speak out against the supply of weapons.
In March, in the Czech capital of Prague, about 500 people took part in a rally against military aid to Ukraine.
