Former President Lee Jun-seok of People's Power has once again applied for an injunction with the court.

The People's Power Ethics Committee has in fact predicted additional disciplinary action against former CEO Lee.

This news will be delivered by reporter Kim Hyung-rae.

<Reporter> Lee Jun-

seok, former representative of the People's Power, has filed a third injunction with the court.

This time, we aimed at the process of amending the Constitution of the Party.

The party is scheduled to hold a national committee on the 5th to vote on a bill to amend the party constitution that newly defines an 'emergency situation'.

Lee's lawyers explained that the court had already put a brake on the party's judgment that it was an 'emergency situation', and that changing the party constitution to define an emergency situation goes against the Constitution, which prohibits retroactive application.

The party leadership responded that it was 'predictable' and that it was not a big deal.

On the other hand, the party ethics committee effectively foretold the initiation of additional disciplinary procedures against the former representative.

In its statement, the Ethics Committee emphasized that "we respect the opinions of the National Assembly" and that "acts that hinder the development of the party or deviate from the public mind may be subject to disciplinary action."

Previously, it is believed that the People's Strength lawmakers sent a signal that "it can be done" in response to the Ethics Committee's request for additional disciplinary action against Lee at the general assembly of the National Assembly on the 27th of last month.

[Yang Geum-hee/People's Power spokesperson (27th of last month): I urge the Ethics Committee to promptly deal with additional disciplinary action against (former CEO Lee Jun-seok) degrading words and actions.]

Former CEO Lee told SBS reporters, "The Ethics Committee of comedy," he sneered.

He also criticized President Yoon Seok-yeol and even the 'Nuclear Yun', saying, "If you look at the opinion polls asking for responsibility for this incident, I usually rank 3rd, but those who are ranked 1st or 2nd should be disciplined."
