The UAE government celebrated the graduation of the fourth batch of the Artificial Intelligence Program, which was organized by the Office of the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications in the UAE, in cooperation with Kellogg College at Oxford University in Britain, to qualify 60 experts from government and private sector employees. The training program aimed to develop applied plans to adopt artificial intelligence techniques in government agencies and the private sector with the support of experts and specialists, understand the effects of adopting artificial intelligence in various fields, and develop the capabilities of officials and decision-makers affiliated with the program to analyze and conclude information about artificial intelligence systems, and enhance strategic planning through Analyze the security and ethical risks resulting from the adoption of artificial intelligence.

Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, stressed that the visions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the thought of the UAE's proactive leadership, are the motivation for the UAE community to accelerate steps and implement Objectives To move towards the future through the integration of efforts and constructive cooperation with international companies, leading institutions and community members in adopting and developing successful digital practices and rapid access to complete digital transformation.

He said that the UAE government is constantly working on designing initiatives, programs and launching qualitative platforms to build the capabilities of distinguished national cadres, develop their capabilities, skills and expertise in various fields of artificial intelligence, and empower them with the necessary tools to devise solutions to future challenges in various digital fields.

The graduate experts reviewed their distinguished graduation projects that they worked on during the last period, under the supervision of a group of international experts and specialists. The innovations of the new graduation projects are the result of the work and training process of the Artificial Intelligence Program, which was organized in the period from June to last August, and focused on two main tracks, which included the track The technical and entrepreneurship track, through which it organized live and virtual interactive lectures and workshops for 60 experts and specialists in the fields of science and engineering with the aim of providing experts with methods of artificial intelligence and how to use it to facilitate the lives of societies and improve the working methods of employees in their destinations, which contributes to the innovation of new national practices and enhances the leadership of the UAE globally in various fields of modern technology.

The best project submitted by the graduates, the Emirates Global Aluminium, was represented in the work of predictive maintenance of the chemical engineering process and determining its success using artificial intelligence techniques, while the second best project focused on the development of an artificial intelligence-based system that automatically identifies security vulnerabilities targeting all parts of the country For its use, process improvement and quality assurance.

The program had a key role in acquainting the participants of the Artificial Intelligence Program with the history and stages of its development, the technological foundations of machine learning, the concept of artificial intelligence and its uses in developing services and technology, and the extent of its positive impact on the lives of societies, and evaluating different data analysis methods and their applications, ethics, laws and privacy in the field of Artificial intelligence, understanding the latest technologies in modern commercial projects, and had a role in enhancing the adherents’ mastery of a number of future languages ​​represented in modern programming languages ​​through workshops that included “Python”, “Rapid Miner” and “Jupiter”.

The Artificial Intelligence Program was able to train more than 360 experts and specialists from more than 100 government and private agencies, build their capabilities and hone their skills in the areas of artificial intelligence, data science basics and other future skills, which enable national cadres to make future digital decisions and adopt artificial intelligence technology as a trend. As a new head of work methods, in addition to providing a stimulating environment that includes a selection of international trainers, consultants and supervisors of graduation projects, and organizing field trips inside and outside the country.
