“Not only the existence of our country as an integral, sovereign, strong state, but also what the world will be like after its completion depends on the outcome of the operation,” Matvienko wrote in her blog on the website of the Federation Council.
According to her, the world can continue moving towards a multipolar model, or the US and its allies will establish their hegemony.
She noted that Russia has enough resources to successfully conduct a special operation.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the Russian special operation in Ukraine was going according to plan.
