Official statistics show that in the past ten years, the trade volume between Fujian and Taiwan has reached more than 700 billion yuan (RMB, the same below), and it will exceed 100 billion yuan in 2021. There are more than 10,000 enterprises in Fujian and Taiwan, and the actual use of Taiwanese capital exceeds 10 billion US dollars.
The press conference on the theme of "Ten Years of China · Fujian" was held in Fuzhou on the afternoon of the 30th. Yin Li, Secretary of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, introduced the development achievements of Fujian in the past ten years and answered questions from reporters.
Yin Li said that Fujian actively promotes water, electricity and ventilation bridges with Kinmen and Matsu areas, and supplies 25,000 tons of water to Kinmen every day, accounting for about three-quarters of Kinmen's daily water consumption.
The two sides of the strait are relatives, and Fujian and Taiwan are relatives.
Yin Li introduced that Fujian insists on promoting integration through communication, mutual benefit, and affection, and solidly promotes exchanges and cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan.
At present, 225 lists of equal treatment for Taiwan compatriots and Taiwan enterprises have been released, and 14 Straits Forums and various activities to promote cross-strait exchanges have been successfully held.
"In today's Fujian, more and more Taiwan compatriots and Taiwanese enterprises are integrating into the construction of the new Fujian, chasing, building and realizing their dreams in the land of Ba Fujian," said the secretary of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee.
