The Sharjah Private Education Authority has confirmed raising the readiness and efficiency of school transportation performance, in order to achieve the highest standards of safety, security and safety for students during the trips to and from school.

The project is distinguished by its ability to provide a safe school transportation service, which allows parents to track school buses during the trip to and from school through the smart application, through which the bus supervisor records the students’ ascent and disembarkation, allowing the students’ families to follow their children.

Specialized employees of the authority monitor and follow up all trips through an operations and control room at the authority's headquarters, equipped with four screens through which specialized employees monitor the performance and data of all buses belonging to the emirate's schools.

According to the guideline for operating private schools, Emirates Today obtained a copy of it. The authority called on the school to reschedule school transportation times to ensure that they are consistent with the school's operational plan, and obligated schools to follow eight procedures to ensure the cleanliness, safety and security of school buses at all times.

The instructions included allowing the use of school buses with a capacity of 100%, while maintaining a reasonably safe distance to ensure lack of physical cohesion, adequate ventilation, and specifying seating areas for students, with the necessity of disinfecting and sterilizing school buses on a daily basis.

The authority called for adhering to the instructions of government agencies concerned with transportation regarding placing hand sanitizers on school buses, specifying specific points for the entrances to school buses and private cars, in addition to the necessity of expediting participation in the “Your Children are Safe” program, and providing parents and students with school transportation protocols.

The authority obligated bus drivers and supervisors to practice all safety procedures and protocols that are published by the competent government agencies in the emirate.

In Ajman, the Transport Authority, represented by the Commercial Services Corporation, launched an initiative for school students during the first days of the 2022-2023 academic year, based on the social responsibility that the authority pays great attention to by involving the community and targeting it in all events and initiatives that contribute to its promotion.

The initiative targeted school students who were transported by skilled taxis, to encourage them to start the school year in a positive and active manner.

The Executive Director of the Authority's Commercial Services Corporation, Ahmed Saqr Al Matrooshi, indicated that the initiative targets school students, and contributes to motivating them for the new academic year.

During the initiative, school supplies were distributed to students who rode in skilled taxis, as skilled taxis are among the vehicles designated for women's and family transportation, and this service contributes to providing privacy and comfort for female taxi users.

The room is equipped with four screens through which the specialized staff monitors the performance and data of all buses belonging to the schools of the Emirate.
