It is reported by RIA Novosti.

As noted in the Russian military department, the first two five-story residential buildings were built in record time: work on the construction site began in early July.

The houses are part of a residential neighborhood under construction on Kuprina Street.

According to the plan, 12 similar houses for more than 1.2 thousand apartments will be built in the first stage of construction by the end of the year.

The second phase is scheduled to be completed by the summer of 2023.

Earlier, the mayor of Mariupol, Konstantin Ivashchenko, told RT correspondent Alexei Repin that about a sixth of all houses in the city would be demolished.
