A couple was condemned this Monday by the court of Orleans (Loiret) for reciprocal violence.

The man and the woman, who were married a little over a year ago, accused each other of assault, reports

La République du Center

.

The only certainty: the two young people, aged 24 and 21 respectively, had a violent argument last July 25 about… their holiday destination.

For the rest, impossible to disentangle the true from the false.

The young woman claims to have been pushed around and abused, her husband claims to have received a stab wound from his wife.

The latter explained to the investigators that the man had injured himself by breaking a window.

According to the medical examiner who examined the wound, both versions are admissible.

No longer the right to see each other

Despite a history of violence and psychological monitoring of the young woman, the court decided to sentence the two defendants to the same sentence: four months suspended prison sentence.

The man and the woman no longer have the right to come into contact for two years.
