“The day has come, the IAEA support and assistance mission to the Zaporozhye NPP is already on its way,” Grossi wrote on Twitter.
He stressed the need to ensure the safety of Ukraine's largest nuclear facility in Europe.
The mission will arrive at ZNPP this week, Grossi said.
Earlier, the head of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, Yevgeny Balitsky, said that the authorities of the region are ready to accept the IAEA mission to the Zaporizhzhya NPP and ensure their complete safety.
