He added that the campaign comes within the framework of the Dubai Police General Command's keenness to cooperate with strategic partners and community members who are partners in the success of the campaign at the beginning of each academic year, by adhering to traffic laws and ensuring traffic safety on the roads.

He pointed out that the Dubai Police, through the campaign, seeks to achieve its strategic orientation represented in the safe city, work to make community members happy, and reduce deaths, stressing that the administration noticed a great commitment from drivers to the stop sign used on school buses, which contributed to avoiding traffic accidents.

For his part, the Director of the Security Awareness Department in the General Department of Community Happiness, Butti Ahmed Al Falasi, stated that the campaign succeeded in achieving awareness by visiting schools on the first day of school, and through social media sites, in achieving zero deaths during this day, pointing out that the campaign Which are implemented in the fourth year in a row, and included awareness of the need to adhere to traffic laws, fasten the seat belt while driving, adhere to the specified speed and road instructions, leave a safe distance between vehicles, not use the phone while driving, give pedestrians their right when crossing, and the importance of making way for emergency vehicles.

Al Falasi pointed out that the awareness campaign aims to evaluate drivers' behavior by involving them in responsibility, and community members together to achieve the public interest on the first day of school, and to achieve zero accidents leading to deaths by sending awareness messages to all road users, drivers and pedestrians.

He stressed that the campaign provided an opportunity for members of the public to participate in its success, and to increase awareness by reducing the number of violations and reducing the rate of accidents, in addition to ensuring the application of precautionary measures against the Corona virus by adhering to the principle of physical distancing in buses and schools, and the use of masks and sterilization materials.
