Ukraine receives the bodies of 541 soldiers from Russia

Ukraine announced that it had received from Russia hundreds of bodies of its soldiers who died in the war with its neighbor since late February.

Today, Sunday, the Ukrainian Commissioner for Missing Persons, Oleh Kotenko, said that the number of bodies received reached 541.

Kotenko explained that it was possible to contact the Russian side through the International Committee of the Red Cross, explaining that among the received bodies, 428 were brought from the city of Mariupol in eastern Ukraine, which has been in conflict for a long time.



Russia and Ukraine have exchanged the bodies of the dead soldiers several times, and the number of bodies of Russian soldiers delivered to Moscow has not been announced.
