President Vladimir Putin has agreed to grant permanent residency to Ukrainians who migrated to Russia after the outbreak of the war.

According to foreign media such as AFP, President Putin signed an executive order on the 27th local time to lift the period of stay for Ukrainians in Russia and allow them to work in Russia.

The target is Ukrainian passport holders who entered Russia after leaving Ukraine or the Eastern Donbas region controlled by Ukraine or pro-Russian separatists after the start of the invasion of Ukraine, which Russia calls a 'special military operation' on February 24.

However, to do this, fingerprints and photos must be registered with the Russian authorities and tested for drugs or infectious diseases.
