“In total, more than 50,000 military personnel will be involved in the Vostok-2022 maneuvers,” the report says.
It is also planned to use more than 5 thousand units of weapons and military equipment, including 140 aircraft, 60 warships, boats and support vessels.
Joint actions will be worked out by operational command and control groups, military contingents and observers of the CSTO, SCO and other partner states.
The Vostok-2022 exercises will be held from September 1 to 7 at seven training grounds of the Eastern Military District, as well as in the waters and coastal zones of the Sea of Okhotsk and the Sea of Japan.
