He spoke about this in an interview published on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry on the TV channel Zvezda for a documentary film dedicated to the Non-Aligned Movement.
“Unfortunately, our Western partners, who have now completely given over the reins of government to the United States, while Britain has joined in on the radiation, are trying to go against objective historical processes, which can slow down the formation of multipolarity, but will not stop it in any way,” Lavrov said.
Earlier, Lavrov noted that the “rules-based order” imposed by the West implies a racist division of the world into exceptional and the rest.
