“The IDF and MOSSAD have been instructed by us to prepare for any scenario.
We will be ready to act to maintain the security of Israel.
The Americans understand this, the world understands this, and the Israeli society should know this as well,” Lapid said in a statement.
The prime minister also added that Israel will continue to fight against the agreement, maintaining strategic relations with the United States, which it considers its main ally.
Earlier, Axios reported that the head of Israeli intelligence Mossad, David Barnea, will visit Washington to negotiate a new deal to restore the nuclear agreement with Iran.
