His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Abu Dhabi University, directed the allocation of 20 comprehensive scholarships to 20 outstanding students in the twelfth grade during the academic year 2022-2023, to put them on the path of the future, creativity and excellence to continue their studies in One of the headquarters of Abu Dhabi University, the prestigious institution that offers about 50 locally and internationally accredited study programs in vital disciplines in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai and Al Dhafra region.
Among the most prominent specializations offered during the next semester are Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, Cyber Security Engineering, Computer Engineering - Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering - Robotics and Automation, Molecular and Medical Genetics, Biomedical Engineering, and Industrial Mechatronics, in addition to new tracks in Big Data Analytics, Web/Smartphone Application Development Track in Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Cyber Security Track, Game Development Track in Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Water Technology Track in Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
The scholarship offered by His Highness since 2009 represents a prominent national initiative that opens horizons of excellence and creativity for distinguished students, and encourages them to complete their university studies at Abu Dhabi University, within specializations aimed at providing students with the skills necessary to prepare them according to best practices to obtain promising and required career opportunities in the 21st century. and excel in their fields.
The scholarship lasts for a period not exceeding four years for one student, or until the date of graduation, whichever occurs first.
The scholarship includes tuition fees, application fees, registration fees, student services fees, and health services fees.
Eligible students may apply to the Scholarships and Financial Aid Office at Abu Dhabi University.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi University, Dr. Ali Saeed bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, stressed the importance of the initiative presented by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, and its role in encouraging students to exert effort in studying and academic achievement.

Bin Harmel said that the strategy for developing the academic career of Abu Dhabi University started from monitoring the needs of the labor market in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and anticipating the future of the workforce that will join the various development institutions.
