The Sun: British schoolchildren can buy sweaters due to lower temperatures in classrooms

It is noted that for those students who belong to the poorest segments of the population, the British authorities are considering the possibility of buying sweaters.

Earlier, Business Insider reported that in Europe, despite the hot weather, sales of electric blankets and portable heaters increased.

Specifically, in the UK, customers purchased nearly 13 times more electric heated blankets than in 2021. 

Helen Thompson, a professor of political economy at the University of Cambridge, said the West faces an "energy payoff" in the winter for lack of Russian gas.
