Russia presented to the UN Security Council evidence of the shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant by the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Permanent Mission announced this on its social networks.

“We distributed among the members of the UN Security Council a letter about the presentation of the Russian Ministry of Defense on the shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on August 25,” RIA Novosti quotes a statement.

At the same time, it is clarified that the level of radiation at the power units is controlled and remains within the normal range.

Earlier it became known that as a result of another shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, four shells hit the roof of one of the special buildings of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, where American nuclear fuel is stored.
