The Briton said that she received a resident of Ukraine and her daughter.

According to Maguire, the refugees forced her to take them to a Polish shop because they "didn't eat British food".

“The worst thing is that after all that we prepared and provided them with our home, we never received a single word of gratitude,” said Maguire.

The Briton said that after such an experience she felt "underestimated and completely used", and also promised to no longer take part in refugee admission schemes, calling her experience a "disaster".

“We have never felt so uncomfortable in our own homes as we did with them,” she concluded.

Earlier, the Daily Mail reported that about a quarter of British families that were included in the government program to accommodate Ukrainian refugees would refuse to participate in it due to lack of funds and rising inflation.
