"There will be a green light from RD (the regional director editor's note)", writes the CEO of Vårdinnovation, the company behind the Vårdexpressen IT system, in the message.

When the dinner took place, various business negotiations were underway between Vårdinnovation and Region Skåne.

Alongside Vårdexpressen, the CEO discussed with lower regional officials about, among other things, an app called Vård och råd.

In the previous preliminary investigation into bribery in connection with the procurement of Vårdexpressen, there are thousands of chat messages between Vårdinnovation's CEO and two of the region's officials.

The three defendants were sentenced to several years in prison by the Malmö district court last spring.

Meetings with dignitaries

On August 22, 2019, when Vårdinnovation invited regional director Alf Jönsson and another senior regional manager to a seven-course dinner at restaurant Kasai in the sky in Malmö, several messages were sent.

The day begins with the CEO sending a message to a person that he is going to meet two business leaders: "I will meet Calle Bennet and Marcus Wallenberg soon.

We'll see how it goes."

Later, in connection with the invitation dinner in the evening, the CEO first tries to call the same person, who does not answer.

Then the CEO instead sends his "green light" message from regional director Alf Jönsson.

Immediately after, the CEO writes again: "Fixed".

New suspected bribery offence

SVT Nyheter Skåne shows the chat messages for the chairman of the regional board Carl Johan Sonesson (M) who says:

- This is something that the prosecutor will certainly look into.

SVT reported on Wednesday that two people are now suspected of bribery in connection with the dinner party.

Neither prosecutors nor the two suspects' lawyers want to say which two of the four dinner participants it is about.

The bill was paid by Vårdinnovation's CEO.

Board professional Bert Nordberg, regional director Alf Jönsson and a former senior regional manager were also present at the dinner.
