Women have realized the requirements of their time and the goals of their leadership, and have worked with dignity to achieve great national gains, in addition to their important role in building the family and raising generations. He added: "We are proud that 20% of the administrative positions in ADNOC are occupied by women leaders, as there is women representation in 16 of the group companies' boards of directors among its 18 subsidiaries," explaining that ADNOC continues to work to represent women in all boards of directors. He noted that ADNOC is making tangible progress in its efforts to employ female nationals to work in fields and factories, noting that ADNOC's In-Country Value (ICV) program has contributed to providing job opportunities in the private sector for more than 1,500 female citizens.

During the celebration, a number of female Emirati and resident employees spoke about their personal experiences in the UAE and ADNOC, and a dialogue session was organized on the twenty-eighth session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), in which high-level speakers participated. At the conclusion of the celebration, the annual ADNOC Awards for Gender Balance in its five categories were presented to the winners of this year's edition.    

It is noteworthy that the percentage of female citizens in the total number of new nationals who were employed in the companies of the "ADNOC" group during the period from 2020 to 2021 has reached 30%.

More than 1,000 female employees are currently working in ADNOC's various sites in the onshore and offshore fields, including the first team in the oil and gas sector, consisting entirely of female engineers, currently working in the "Rumaitha" field in Abu Dhabi, in addition to the first group of drilling supervisors in "ADNOC".
