Belarus announces preparing its warplanes to carry nuclear weapons

Today, Belarusian President Alexander Lukchenko announced the completion of the preparation of aircraft of the Air Force to carry nuclear weapons.

Lukashenko confirmed that he had asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus in response to a similar Polish request from Washington, according to RT Arabic and Sputnik.

"They should be aware that if they escalate, they will not be rescued by helicopters or any planes," Lukashenko told reporters. "We once said with Putin, in St. Petersburg, that we will also convert Belarusian Su-24 planes so that they can carry nuclear weapons. What do you think we are sticking our tongues?" everything is ready".

He added that Belarus is ready to adequately respond to threats from the West.

It is noteworthy that the European Union imposed sanctions on Belarus, including economic and sports fields, for its support of the Russian war in Ukraine.
