A 29-year-old man fell from the fifth floor of a building under construction in Dugny (Seine-Saint-Denis) on Wednesday.

The worker who was involved in the work of the future media center for the Paris Olympics in 2024 fell about 15 m high.

He suffers from multiple fractures, including one in the femur, reports

The journeyman worker was taken to hospital.

The Bobigny prosecutor's office (Seine-Saint-Denis) indicated that the vital prognosis of the victim had not been engaged.

The police of La Courneuve (Seine-Saint-Denis) were in charge of the investigation.

Work was halted near the site of the fall to facilitate investigations.

Other work continues

The labor inspectorate is associated with the latter.

The rest of the work, however, was not interrupted.

Eight industrial accidents resulting in the victims having lost work for more than seven days have already occurred on sites linked to the Olympic Games.
