“We expect the Cypriot authorities to conduct a thorough, objective and impartial investigation and take action in accordance with applicable national law,” the statement said.
According to Zakharova, the Russian embassy is in constant contact with the Cypriot police regarding this incident.
Zakharova noted that the attack is another example of the spread of aggressive Russophobia abroad.
