Almost three billion dollars.

This is almost triple the largest tranche of military aid announced so far, and it was already this month.

This means that American military support for Ukraine is undeniable.

It is even accelerating;

it changes dimension and above all, it changes nature.

Because contrary to previous decisions, it is no longer a question of taking arms and ammunition from American stocks.

The Pentagon has hinted that this is becoming difficult without taking any risk, for the American operational capacity.

This time, it is financial assistance to pay for arms sales contracts.

In other words, the United States gives almost three billion dollars to Ukraine to buy equipment for the arms industry – American, it goes without saying, and moreover, it is not specified in the press release. of the White House – in order to equip themselves for the long term.

Here, this morning on @RFI, it was said that the USA still had reserves to support Ukraine, and then in stride, crack, 3 billion in military aid.

It's a “win-win”.

This includes air defense systems, artillery systems and related ammunition, as well as aerial anti-drone systems.

In other words, weapon systems which remain to be produced and which will arrive later, to adapt to a war which takes place over a long period of time.

It should be noted, still on the military level, that the Ministers of Defense of the European Union will discuss next week in Prague a future military training mission in Ukraine, with the assumed objective of training Ukrainian forces. on their own territory.

Poland, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom and France already offer such training.
