This morning (August 24), Rao Quan, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, said that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, my country's modern public cultural service system has been improving day by day, promoting people's spiritual life towards common prosperity.

Rao Quan introduced that in the past ten years, my country's Public Cultural Service Guarantee Law, Public Library Law, Museum Regulations, and National Basic Public Cultural Service Guidance Standards have been successively promulgated to effectively protect the basic cultural rights and interests of the masses.

Actively build a six-level public cultural service network from the country to the village (community).

By the end of 2021, there are 3,215 public libraries, 3,316 cultural centers, 40,200 cultural stations, and 575,400 village-level comprehensive cultural service centers nationwide.

All public libraries, cultural centers (stations), art galleries and 91% of museums are free to open.

People-benefiting projects such as "Opera into the Village" were implemented in depth, and brand cultural activities such as "Village Evening" were widely carried out, making the cultural life of the masses more colorful.

The construction of the smart library system and the public cultural cloud has been accelerated, and new public cultural spaces have emerged. From the "cloud" to the "fingertips", public cultural services are more convenient and more "tasteful".
