Investigative Committee opened a case on the fact of the murder of a priest in Domodedovo near Moscow

“The investigating authorities of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow Region detained a 22-year-old local resident suspected of killing the rector of the church and destroying property,” the Investigative Committee said.

According to the Investigative Committee, on August 24, the suspect set fire to one of the classrooms of the Sunday school, located on the territory of the church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, and attacked the rector of the church with a knife.

The priest died at the scene from his wound.
