Sheng Ronghua, deputy director of the Central Cyberspace Administration of China and the State Cyberspace Administration of China, introduced that, with the approval of the Party Central Committee, the 2022 China Cyber Civilization Conference will be held at the Tianjin National Convention and Exhibition Center from August 28 to 29.
The conference was jointly sponsored by the Central Network Information Office, the Central Civilization Office, the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the Tianjin Municipal People's Government, and jointly organized by the China Federation of Network Social Organizations and the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee Network Information Office.
Sheng Ronghua said that this conference closely revolves around the main line of welcoming, publicizing and implementing the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
The whole arrangement of the conference includes the opening ceremony, the main forum, the summit forum on the construction of network integrity, plus ten sub-forums, as well as the exhibition of the achievements of China's network civilization construction in the new era and the theme activities of network civilization. The conference lasts for one and a half days.
Sheng Ronghua said that the main forum will invite comrades in charge of competent departments, leaders of network social organizations and Internet companies, as well as some experts, scholars and Internet celebrities, and the "Tianjin Declaration on Jointly Building Network Civilization" will be released at the meeting.
The ten sub-forums will be guided by the Central Cyberspace Administration of China in conjunction with relevant departments and units, and will be sponsored by the relevant bureaus (units) of the Central Cyberspace Administration of China and the Cyberspace Administration of Tianjin Municipal Committee.
The ten sub-forums focus on online content construction, online ecological construction, online rule of law construction, co-construction of online civilized society, algorithm governance, online rumor management, international exchange and mutual learning of online civilization, digital charity, online literacy education, and personal information protection. In-depth exchanges and discussions on these ten aspects will be conducted, and a series of achievements in the construction of network civilization will be released at that time.
