Private schools in Sharjah and Ajman have concluded their preparations for the start of the new school year 2022-2023, which is scheduled to start on August 29, by preparing various development plans, preparing and rehabilitating school buildings within safety standards, and providing all precautionary measures to prevent the “Corona” virus, as well as providing Facilities in paying fees to students' families.

In detail, the director of the National Charitable School in Ajman, Dr. Maher Hattab, said that the school administration has completed its preparations to receive students, in terms of preparing various development plans for all areas of work in the school, in addition to reviewing and renewing work policies in line with the requirements of the next stage, indicating that it has been completed. From the readiness and rehabilitation of the school building within safety and security standards, as well as the provision and preparation of all necessary resources, especially technical resources that promote active and independent learning for students, in addition to providing human cadres of qualified teachers and administrators with high-quality educational experiences.

Hattab added to "Emirates Today", that the school opened its doors to new students and they were classified according to their levels and circumstances, noting that the school is working to facilitate students' enrollment in their academic seats and not to delay them in order to ensure their interest, and is also keen to implement all applicable laws from official authorities and the laws of the school. the institution in a framework of flexibility;

While the school administration obliges students to wear the school uniform and does not allow it to be violated, and other work regulations in the school, it stands by some special cases and helps them find satisfactory solutions for parents to ensure the application of the system and the achievement of its objectives.

The founder and director of Al-Shula Private Schools, Ibrahim Baraka, said that the school has made preparations, as the schools include cadres that follow up on air conditioning, maintenance and classes in preparation for the start of the new year.

He added, "All preventive measures have been taken to prevent the Corona virus, and we have officials in each school for security and safety who are working according to the required procedures regarding spacing, sterilization and isolation rooms, as well as the measures that will be taken, such as measuring temperature and providing masks for students."

He continued, "Schools have a fixed policy regarding the payment of school fees, which is three annual installments, and sometimes extends to five installments depending on the circumstances of parents."

Baraka said: "We seek to take into account the conditions of the students' families. The discounts were provided by the school for those whose financial circumstances stumbled. It also approved the discount system for brothers who have more than one student, as well as for students who excel by a large percentage."

The owner of Victoria International School, Amin Al-Nizami, said that the school has prepared for the new year with many measures. In terms of infrastructure, the school has conducted complete maintenance operations for all its facilities, as a budget has been allocated during the three annual holidays for the continuous development and maintenance process. We have a team of electrical and plumbing workers so that they practice their work periodically.

Al-Nizami added: "We are committed to what was approved by the Sharjah Private Education Authority regarding hygiene procedures and awareness posters, and we have also provided cleaners in all bathrooms to sterilize them on an ongoing basis."

He continued: "We also took into account the conditions of the students' families and did not raise any fees despite the high costs of managing, whether buses or books, and we provide pens and notebooks for students for free, as well as free medical insurance for students."

In turn, the director of Al Kamal Helwan Private School in Sharjah, Youssef Fares, said: "We are currently arranging our priorities by completing the deficiencies in the educational, administrative and technical staff, and we will start the school year with a complete technical and educational body so that the school year is not affected."

He continued, "We have started maintenance procedures, and the classrooms have been prepared and sterilized, so that students can use them on the first day of school," noting that the school's administrative body will start working next week.

He said, "With regard to Corona, we follow the policy of the Sharjah Special Education Authority. They have an explanatory memorandum, directions and instructions that we follow verbatim, in addition to educating students and parents, and there are fixed procedures that there is no room for complacency to reduce injuries as much as possible."

He said: “We decided to make a scheduling between the registration and accounts departments to facilitate the matter for the students’ families and allow them to pay the installments without being bound by the specified date. Or those who have at least three children, so that we provide them with payment facilities of up to 10 checks annually, which facilitates the procedures for them more.”
