Nebenzya called calls to establish a demilitarized zone around ZNPP irresponsible

According to him, some Western colleagues think that the way out of the situation is the withdrawal of Russian troops and the creation of a demilitarized zone around the ZNPP.

“This is an irresponsible statement that does not take into account the need to maintain conditions for the safe operation of the Zaporozhye NPP,” Nebenzya said at a meeting of the UN Security Council.

Nebenzya also said that Russia does not place heavy weapons on the territory of the ZNPP and does not use the station for military purposes.
