The Liberals are currently on a joint bus tour with the Moderates, the Christian Democrats and the Sweden Democrats, where the parties' energy policy spokespersons visit nuclear power plants.

The joint tour has attracted internal criticism within the Liberals, but party leader Johan Pehrson has dismissed it and said that it is not a tour.

But when the spokespersons visited Forsmark's nuclear power plant today, it was unclear what the visit would actually be called.

"Not the problem"

That the parties go on a joint tour can be described as "some kind of milestone", says the Sweden Democrats' energy policy spokesperson Mattias Bäckström Johansson.

But from the Liberals' Arman Teimouri, the tone is different:

- I don't see sharing a bus with others as the problem.

We have a big problem with people not being able to afford to pay their electricity bill, he says.
