With barely three weeks left until the election, the parties' election campaigns are now gaining momentum.

Today, the Social Democrats, led by Magdalena Andersson, went to Västerås for an election speech.

Electricity prices

One of the issues on the agenda was the economy, including the high electricity prices.

An important topic for private individuals, but also for the large and medium-sized industries that consume a lot of electricity in Västmanland in their production.

- We both need to ensure that the transmission works better and we need to expand: not least, there is a very large interest in expanding wind power in Sweden and it needs to be done, but we also need to keep nuclear power, says Magdalena Andersson.

The train problems

The Prime Minister says he is well aware of the problems that thousands of commuters experience with the train service.

- The tracks are full in Sweden and therefore we have to build a new railway, says Magdalena Andersson.
