The police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a fatal accident which occurred on a departmental road in Riom (Puy-de-Dôme), this Sunday around 6 a.m.
A 19-year-old woman lost control of her car, which ended up hitting a tree, reports La Montagne.
Seriously injured, the driver was taken care of by a team from Smur and the firefighters.
Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The slightly injured passenger
An 18-year-old woman, a passenger in the accident vehicle, suffered minor facial injuries.
She was hospitalized in shock, specify our colleagues.
The exact circumstances of the accident are currently unknown.
The police in charge of the investigation therefore launched an appeal for witnesses.
People who have come across the vehicle, a white Citroën C3, just before it left the road, are invited to contact the Riom police station (04 73 33 43 63).
