The People's Strength Ethics Committee held a plenary meeting on the evening of the 22nd and announced that it had started disciplinary procedures against Rep. Kim Seong-won, who caused a scandal with his speech at the flood recovery service site.

Rep. Kim said, "Honestly, I hope it rains. The photos will come out well." At a volunteer site for flood recovery on the 11th, Rep. Kim became controversial and apologized the next day.

In addition, it was decided to initiate disciplinary proceedings against Rep. Kwon Eun-hee, who has expressed opposition to the Police Department, and Kim Hee-guk, who was charged with taking bribes.

Meanwhile, the Ethics Committee said, "We did not discuss whether additional disciplinary action should be taken," said former CEO Lee Jun-seok, who criticized President Yoon Seok-yeol and the people's power through media interviews.
