“An alternative mechanism for paying for Kaliningrad transit through Lithuania has been found,” RIA Novosti quotes Lyskov.

According to him, many companies are already using this mechanism.

Earlier, the representative of the Association of Lithuanian Banks, Valeria Kiguolene, said that the Siauliai bank, through which payments for the transit of goods to the Kaliningrad region passed, from August 15, stops operations with Russia in rubles, and from September 1 - in all currencies.

Russia sent a note to the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry due to the fact that the Lithuanian Siauliai Bank, through which transactions were carried out with transit to the Kaliningrad region, announced the termination of work with Russia from September 1.
