In Bashkiria, a criminal case was opened on negligence, which negligently caused the death of a person, after a resident of Beloretsk stabbed his ex-wife to death.

The murder took place in the private sector on the night of 13 August.
According to investigators, 37-year-old Alik Makhiyanov ambushed his ex-wife Dina, who was returning to her parents' house after celebrating her friend's birthday.
The man stabbed the victim about 14 times.
The girl died on the spot.
Makhiyanov himself fled the scene, and then appeared at the police department with a confession.
The tragedy occurred in front of Dina's friends, who were seeing the girl off.
In addition, the crime was recorded by a surveillance camera.
According to the TFR, the cause of the crime was jealousy.
On August 22, the republican investigative department published a video of an investigative experiment on the network, in which Makhiyanov tells why he killed his ex-wife.
According to him, he took a knife to meet with Dina for self-defense.
“I drove up here, I always have knives in my car.
I wanted to take a knife for self-defense: I did not know with whom she would come here.
Came here to talk to her.
Everything exploded, I don't know.
Then I got into the car, I was shaking violently, my heartbeat was strong.
I came to the police building and wrote a confession,” said Makhiyanov.
Now the man is accused in a criminal case of murder (part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), he faces from six to 15 years in prison.
He admitted his guilt, while at the trial on the choice of a measure of restraint he asked to give him a milder measure.
The court sent Makhiyanov to a pre-trial detention center for two months.
During the investigation, it turned out that from December 2020 to August 2022, Dina Makhiyanova repeatedly contacted the police with statements that her ex-husband was beating her.
The Republican Investigation Department is investigating a criminal case of negligence, which negligently caused the death of a person (part 2 of article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
As RT was told in the department, there are no suspects in the case now.
“We know that the police responded to the statements of the victim, but we are checking how correct these procedural decisions were, how legal and justified they were,” the department said.
The prosecutor's office of Bashkortostan is also checking the fact of the murder, including the possible negligence of the police.
The parents of the murdered girl previously told the media that Alik Makhiyanov had been persecuting his wife for years, and the beatings lasted almost the entire time of their life together.
Dina married Makhiyanova at the age of 18.
Friends of the deceased said that they constantly escorted her home and watched her go safely behind the gate.
That night, the friends managed to run out of the car and run up to Dina, when her ex-husband had already dealt her fatal blows.
“I saw that she was bleeding from her neck, I started to plug [the wound], but the last three breaths and that’s it,” said Dina’s friend.
In turn, the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Bashkiria stated that the police responded to allegations of Makhiyanov's crimes.
So, he was brought to administrative responsibility under the articles “Battery” and “Petty hooliganism” for threats and broken windows in the house of the deceased.
“In February of this year, a local resident was registered as a family brawler and was regularly checked at the place of residence by the district police officer,” the department said.
