There were no surprises in the Gwangju and Jeonnam circuit, the heart of the Democratic Party, where 21% of the members of the Rights Party are concentrated.



Candidate Jae-myung Lee greatly outpaced Candidate Yong-jin Park with close to 80% of the votes in Gwangju and Jeonnam.



As a result, the cumulative voter turnout rates of 15 provinces and provinces where voting by the Rights Party have been conducted so far were 78.35% for Lee Jae-myung and 21.65% for Park Yong-jin.

In the supreme committee election, which selects 5 out of 8 candidates, candidate Chung Cheong-rae maintained the first place with 26.4% of the cumulative vote, followed by Ko Min-jung, Seo Young-kyo, Jang Kyung-tae, Park Chan-dae, and Song Gap-seok, Yoon Young-chan, and Ko Young-in.



All four candidates classified as so-called 'Lee Jae-myung-gye' were elected, and as 'non-Lee Jae-myung-gye', candidate Ko Min-jung is the only one.



The proportion of votes reflected by the electoral college that selects the next Democratic Party leadership is 40% for right party members, 30% for delegates, 25% for general public opinion polls, and 5% for general party members polls.



The Democratic Party will finally elect the leadership on the 28th after going through the Seoul and Gyeonggi region primaries with 37% of the right party members this week, delegate voting, and opinion polls.
